New anti-discrimination Regulations’ implementation dates
These Regulations respectively provide for the first time that a discrimination claim may be brought in respect of events that took place after the termination of employment, provided that the claim arises out of and is closely connected to the employment relationship. The existing law covering discrimination on grounds of sex, race, and disability has already been amended in order to achieve this.
2020 note - these regulations concerned the individual discrimination acts which were consolidated into the Equality Act 2010 in that year.
